The Chinese White Pine Pinus armandii is a stunning evergreen that adds an elegant Eastern feel to gardens. Keep an eye out for any signs of needle browning or dieback, which could indicate stress or disease. The Chinese White Pine is hardy in most parts of Britain but may appreciate some shelter from strong winds in very exposed sites.
