This lovely conifer comes from China and Korea and has been adding charm to gardens for more than 1,000 years. Gardeners still love it today for its dependable growth and bright appearance.
The ‘Aurea Nana’ form is perfect for smaller gardens where space matters. It naturally grows into a neat, rounded shape without needing any pruning. The beautiful golden-green needles keep their colour all year round, bringing light to gardens even during dreary winter months.
This hardy conifer suits our climate perfectly, coping well with changeable weather. It’s excellent for town gardens as it tolerates pollution and grows at a steady pace, usually reaching just 1-1.5m tall over many years. The slow growth means it stays manageable.
The thick, fan-shaped needle clusters add lovely texture to planting schemes. During winter months, the foliage develops gentle bronze hints for added appeal. It’s ideal for bringing structure to borders or making feature points in compact spaces.

Seeds
We generally send seeds out via Royal Mail Second Class. It’s the safest and easiest way to deliver seeds.
Young Trees
Young trees (Less than 1.2m) will generally be sent via Evri.
Larger quantities of young trees will be sent via ParcelForce or pallet courier..
Huge Trees
Some of our huge trees are too tall to be sent via a courier. They are generally only available for collection from our nursery, local delivery or via occasionally pallet courier. This will be shown on the individual product page.
