The Coast Redwood ‘Cantab’ *Sequoia sempervirens* ‘Cantab’ makes a beautiful addition to any garden with its elegant shape and bright foliage.
Found as a witches broom growing on a Coast Redwood at Cambridge University Botanic Gardens, this variety captures all the splendour of the famous Coast Redwood. ‘Cantab’ displays short and broad rich green needles along its branches, forming a thick and lush canopy that provides shade and tranquillity. Its quick growth and pyramid-like shape make it an eye-catching centrepiece in gardens, parks, or large properties, bringing height and natural charm.
The foliage looks very much like Coast Redwood ‘Prostrata’.

Seeds
We generally send seeds out via Royal Mail Second Class. It’s the safest and easiest way to deliver seeds.
Young Trees
Young trees (Less than 1.2m) will generally be sent via Evri.
Larger quantities of young trees will be sent via ParcelForce or pallet courier..
Huge Trees
Some of our huge trees are too tall to be sent via a courier. They are generally only available for collection from our nursery, local delivery or via occasionally pallet courier. This will be shown on the individual product page.
