Growing Guide:
• Annual growth rate: 30-60cm
• Hardy to -15°C when mature (winter protection recommended for young trees)
• Adaptable to most well-draining soils

These incredible trees have captivating stories and are all at risk in their natural homes. The Dawn Redwood was found again in 1944 in China after scientists thought it had died out, knowing it only from fossils. The Giant Redwood suffers from climate change and wildfires, with just around 75,000 trees left in the wild. The Coast Redwood, which once covered 2 million acres along California’s coast, has lost 95% of its ancient forests to logging. All three types have grown in British gardens since Victorian days, and cultivating them helps protect these wonderful trees for the future.

You are welcome to collect any times from our nursery in Euxton, Lancashire. Please contact us to arrange a suitable date and time.
Seeds
We generally send seeds out via Royal Mail Second Class. It’s the safest and easiest way to deliver seeds.
Young Trees
Young trees (Less than 1.2m) will generally be sent via Evri.
Larger quantities of young trees will be sent via ParcelForce or pallet courier..
Huge Trees
Some of our huge trees are too tall to be sent via a courier. They are generally only available for collection from our nursery, local delivery or via occasionally pallet courier. This will be shown on the individual product page.
