The Dawn Redwood ‘Amber Glow’ Metasequoia glyptostroboides stands out with its brilliant foliage that changes colour beautifully throughout the growing season.
The leaves start with burgundy tints in spring, then develop into bright yellow that holds its colour well through summer heat without scorching. Come autumn, the foliage turns a lovely orange shade that looks stunning against the textured reddish-brown bark – particularly striking during winter months.
This variety grows quickly whilst keeping a neat, compact shape, and thrives in zones 5 to 8, making it a great pick for bringing colour and seasonal interest to gardens.
Unlike Dawn Redwood ‘Golden Oji’, this variety won’t scorch in full sun.

Seeds
We generally send seeds out via Royal Mail Second Class. It’s the safest and easiest way to deliver seeds.
Young Trees
Young trees (Less than 1.2m) will generally be sent via Evri.
Larger quantities of young trees will be sent via ParcelForce or pallet courier..
Huge Trees
Some of our huge trees are too tall to be sent via a courier. They are generally only available for collection from our nursery, local delivery or via occasionally pallet courier. This will be shown on the individual product page.
