Monterey Pine – Pinus radiata is a fast-growing evergreen conifer with long, bright green needles in bundles of three and rich, deep-textured bark that darkens and furrows beautifully with age. Native to the Californian coast, it handles salty winds and mild winters with ease, making it a cracking choice for coastal and sheltered gardens across Britain.
Our range of Monterey Pines is perfect for quick screening, shelter belts and bold specimen planting. Pick the size that suits you, plant in well-drained soil in full sun, and watch it romp away. Best suited to milder areas, so give it a spot out of the harshest frosts.
