Care Guide

Plant Japanese Larch ‘Blue Dwarf’ in a sunny or partially shaded position with well-drained soil. This cultivar tolerates a range of soil types but performs best in slightly acidic to neutral conditions. Ensure good drainage, particularly in heavier clay soils, by incorporating organic matter at planting time.

Water regularly during the first growing season to establish a strong root system. Once established, the tree is relatively drought-tolerant, though container-grown specimens will require more frequent watering, especially during dry spells.
