Blue Colorado Spruce ‘Edith’ *Picea pungens* ‘Edith’ is a stunning conifer that stands out with its beautiful blue-grey needles.
This tree grows in a neat, cone-shaped form with branches that spread horizontally. It’s a slow grower, reaching 2.5–4 metres tall and 1.5–2.5 metres wide over 20–50 years.
The lovely foliage looks even better when green-brown cones appear in late summer and autumn, bringing extra colour through the seasons.
This spruce does well in moist, well-draining soil and isn’t fussy about pH levels – it’ll grow happily in acidic, neutral, or alkaline conditions. Being very hardy (H7 rated), it’s perfect for both formal architectural gardens and relaxed, informal spaces. It needs very little care while providing stunning looks all year round.

Seeds
We generally send seeds out via Royal Mail Second Class. It’s the safest and easiest way to deliver seeds.
Young Trees
Young trees (Less than 1.2m) will generally be sent via Evri.
Larger quantities of young trees will be sent via ParcelForce or pallet courier..
Huge Trees
Some of our huge trees are too tall to be sent via a courier. They are generally only available for collection from our nursery, local delivery or via occasionally pallet courier. This will be shown on the individual product page.
