Blue Colorado Spruce ‘Edith’ Picea pungens ‘Edith’ is a stunning conifer with eye-catching blue-grey needles.
This slow-growing tree develops an upright, cone-shaped habit with horizontal branching, reaching 2.5–4 metres tall and 1.5–2.5 metres wide over 20–50 years.
The beautiful foliage is enhanced by green-brown cones that appear in late summer and autumn, providing extra seasonal appeal.
It grows well in moist but well-drained soil and tolerates various pH levels, from acidic through to alkaline conditions. This tough conifer (H7 hardy) works brilliantly in both formal architectural gardens and relaxed informal spaces, needing little care whilst providing year-round structure and colour.

Seeds
We generally send seeds out via Royal Mail Second Class. It’s the safest and easiest way to deliver seeds.
Young Trees
Young trees (Less than 1.2m) will generally be sent via Evri.
Larger quantities of young trees will be sent via ParcelForce or pallet courier..
Huge Trees
Some of our huge trees are too tall to be sent via a courier. They are generally only available for collection from our nursery, local delivery or via occasionally pallet courier. This will be shown on the individual product page.
