The Green Penguin Mountain Pine Pinus mugo ‘Green Penguin’ is a delightful compact evergreen shrub that adds character to any garden. This variety comes from the mountainous regions of Europe and forms a dense, rounded shape with bright green needles that stay colourful all year.
‘Green Penguin’ grows slowly and stays small, which makes it perfect for smaller gardens, rock gardens, or pots. This little pine may be compact, but it really stands out, adding texture and form to flower beds or mixed plantings. It does well in soil that drains properly and loves full sun, coping with different soil types and weather. You can plant it on its own as a feature, group several together, or use it in alpine-style gardens – the Green Penguin Mountain Pine brings personality to any outdoor area.

Seeds
We generally send seeds out via Royal Mail Second Class. It’s the safest and easiest way to deliver seeds.
Young Trees
Young trees (Less than 1.2m) will generally be sent via Evri.
Larger quantities of young trees will be sent via ParcelForce or pallet courier..
Huge Trees
Some of our huge trees are too tall to be sent via a courier. They are generally only available for collection from our nursery, local delivery or via occasionally pallet courier. This will be shown on the individual product page.
