The Dawn Redwood *Metasequoia glyptostroboides* ‘Amber Glow’ stands out with its remarkable foliage that changes colour beautifully from spring right through to autumn.
The leaves start with burgundy tints before developing into bright yellow, which holds well through summer heat without scorching – showing just how tough this tree is. Come autumn, the foliage turns a lovely orange shade that works brilliantly with the reddish-brown textured bark, creating winter interest when the leaves have dropped.
This variety grows quickly while staying reasonably compact, and it’s hardy in zones 5 to 8, making it a great pick for bringing colour and seasonal change to gardens.

Seeds
We generally send seeds out via Royal Mail Second Class. It’s the safest and easiest way to deliver seeds.
Young Trees
Young trees (Less than 1.2m) will generally be sent via Evri.
Larger quantities of young trees will be sent via ParcelForce or pallet courier..
Huge Trees
Some of our huge trees are too tall to be sent via a courier. They are generally only available for collection from our nursery, local delivery or via occasionally pallet courier. This will be shown on the individual product page.
