Coast Redwood *Sequoia sempervirens* holds many amazing records:
1. Tallest Tree: Coast Redwoods are famous for being Earth’s tallest trees. The current record holder for the tallest living tree is “Hyperion,” reaching an incredible height of roughly 379 feet (116 metres). New finds might reveal even taller examples.
2. Largest Living Organism: Coast redwood forests create one of the planet’s largest living organisms through their connected root systems, called “clones.” These clones spread across huge areas and contain genetically identical trees sharing one root system.
3. Oldest Tree: Though not the oldest species, some individual Coast Redwoods have lived beyond 2,200 years, placing them among Earth’s longest-living trees.
4. Largest Groves: Coast Redwood forests in California, especially in places like Redwood National and State Parks, contain some of the biggest and most famous groves of these majestic trees, forming breathtaking gardens.
5. Fastest Growth Rate: Coast Redwoods show remarkable growth rates, with young trees gaining considerable height yearly. This quick growth helps create their towering size.

Seeds
We generally send seeds out via Royal Mail Second Class. It’s the safest and easiest way to deliver seeds.
Young Trees
Young trees (Less than 1.2m) will generally be sent via Evri.
Larger quantities of young trees will be sent via ParcelForce or pallet courier..
Huge Trees
Some of our huge trees are too tall to be sent via a courier. They are generally only available for collection from our nursery, local delivery or via occasionally pallet courier. This will be shown on the individual product page.
