These trees love moist, damp, misty conditions and grow well near the coast. Younger plants can be damaged by frost, but after a few years they become tough enough for most parts of Britain, though frost can still cause harm.
The Coast Redwood Sequoia sempervirens comes from America’s West coast and is now widely grown across Britain and Europe. This remarkable tree holds the record as both the tallest and oldest species on Earth, and has earned the Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Garden Merit.

Seeds
We generally send seeds out via Royal Mail Second Class. It’s the safest and easiest way to deliver seeds.
Young Trees
Young trees (Less than 1.2m) will generally be sent via Evri.
Larger quantities of young trees will be sent via ParcelForce or pallet courier..
Huge Trees
Some of our huge trees are too tall to be sent via a courier. They are generally only available for collection from our nursery, local delivery or via occasionally pallet courier. This will be shown on the individual product page.
