‘Teddy’ is a delightful dwarf conifer that lives up to its cuddly name. Its soft, fluffy foliage has a lovely light green colour and a texture that really does feel like a teddy bear’s fur. This charming little evergreen grows into a perfect round ball shape without any trimming needed. It’s a very slow-growing variety, reaching only about 1m in 10 years, making it perfect for small spaces and containers. The foliage stays plump and full throughout the year, creating an appealing ball of green that adds structure to any garden. In winter, the foliage might take on subtle bronze tints, adding extra interest. It’s brilliant for adding soft shapes to rockeries, the front of borders, or as a container plant on patios. Its small size and natural rounded shape make it a fuss-free choice for busy gardeners.
‘Teddy’ is an easy-going plant that needs little attention. It grows happily in most well-drained soils in either full sun or partial shade. While young plants need regular watering to establish, mature specimens are quite drought-tolerant. No pruning is needed as it keeps its round shape naturally. Feed with a general-purpose fertiliser in spring. Watch out for winter burn in exposed sites, though it’s generally very hardy and resistant to most problems.

Seeds
We generally send seeds out via Royal Mail Second Class. It’s the safest and easiest way to deliver seeds.
Young Trees
Young trees (Less than 1.2m) will generally be sent via Evri.
Larger quantities of young trees will be sent via ParcelForce or pallet courier..
Huge Trees
Some of our huge trees are too tall to be sent via a courier. They are generally only available for collection from our nursery, local delivery or via occasionally pallet courier. This will be shown on the individual product page.
