This attractive tree displays rich, dark green needles that remain on the branches for 4-7 years. Growing slowly at 4-6 inches annually (10-15 cm), this compact Austrian Pine works brilliantly in smaller spaces and confined gardens.
Perfect as a feature tree, privacy screen, or reliable windbreak, ‘Green Tower’ serves multiple purposes. Its adaptable nature and constant greenery make it a wonderful choice for any garden.
‘Green Tower’ grows in a distinctive columnar or narrow pyramid shape. It develops into a tall, slender form that works well in gardens where space is at a premium.
This variety usually grows to 30-40 feet tall (9-12 meters) whilst staying narrow at just 6-10 feet wide (2-3 meters). Its compact dimensions suit small gardens perfectly or add vertical interest to larger spaces. ‘Green Tower’ produces long, slightly twisted dark green needles. These needles create a full, lush look and keep the tree green throughout the year.
Austrian Pines are famous for coping with dry conditions, and ‘Green Tower’ shares this quality. Once settled in, it handles drought well.
This variety grows in different soil types and needs little care. It also resists many diseases that commonly affect pine trees.
‘Green Tower’ works well as a single feature tree, for privacy screening, or as shelter from wind. Its upright shape and deep green foliage create excellent vertical features in garden layouts.
Being evergreen, Austrian Pines stay interesting all year round, particularly during winter when other trees lose their leaves.

Seeds
We generally send seeds out via Royal Mail Second Class. It’s the safest and easiest way to deliver seeds.
Young Trees
Young trees (Less than 1.2m) will generally be sent via Evri.
Larger quantities of young trees will be sent via ParcelForce or pallet courier..
Huge Trees
Some of our huge trees are too tall to be sent via a courier. They are generally only available for collection from our nursery, local delivery or via occasionally pallet courier. This will be shown on the individual product page.
